Agonizing night for Texas QBs

I happened to catch some of the game at a friend’s place. I’m far from being a Longhorn fan, but these two kids played their hearts out. McCoy was injured early on and Gilbert was too green to save the day. Both were in tears, one because his entire college football career came to bitter close and the other because he couldn’t save the team from a national defeat. Both played against the team with this year’s Heisman Trophy winner: Mark Ingram, Jr.

Congratulations, Crimson Tide. Tough luck, Longhorns.
